Poll workers help voters at early voting and on Election Day. They welcome voters, check in voters, assist with ballots, and support a smooth and secure process. Poll workers represent all parts of our community and work together to serve every voter.

Basic Eligibility

  • Be a DeKalb County resident.
  • Be a registered voter in Tennessee.
  • Be able to complete required training.
  • Be comfortable working with people and following procedures.

If you are interested in serving, please contact the Election Commission. Training is provided and scheduled before each election.
